The City of London Corporation is looking for an experienced M365 / Power Platform Specialist to join DITS within Chamberlain’s department. This role offers the opportunity to help shape and deliver modern Microsoft 365 solutions that improve business processes and ways of working across the organisation. 

 

Reporting to the Senior M365 / Power Platform Specialist, you will provide expert support across Microsoft 365, with a strong focus on SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and the Power Platform. You will work closely with colleagues and customers to design, develop and support scalable, reusable solutions, balancing business-as-usual support with new development and migration activity. 

 

Key responsibilities include: 

 

  • Supporting and administering Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Teams and Power Platform 

  • Designing and delivering solutions using out-of-the-box M365 capabilities wherever possible 

  • Supporting and training users through workshops, documentation and guidance 

  • Managing the lifecycle of SharePoint and Teams sites, using automation and self-service 

  • Delivering migrations from legacy systems and file shares into Microsoft 365 

  • Maintaining technical documentation and supporting security, licensing and data retention requirements 

 

About you: 

 

You will have strong experience working with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Copilot Studio), along with experience of data migration and stakeholder engagement. You’ll be able to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users and work effectively with internal teams and third-party suppliers. 

 

Experience in Agile/DevOps environments and knowledge of Azure, PowerShell or SharePoint Framework would be an advantage. 

This role is subject to Managed Vetting (MV) and Security Clearance (SC). Occasional work outside core hours may be required.
