Workforce Data & Systems Analyst – FTC to 31 Mar 2026
Are you an analytical thinker with a passion for people data, HR systems, and continuous improvement? We’re looking for a Workforce Data & Systems Analyst to join our People & HR Department and help us deliver high-quality workforce insights, streamline systems, and support strategic decision-making.
About the Role
As our Workforce Data & Systems Analyst, you’ll lead on producing timely, accurate and insightful workforce data, ensure data quality and security. You’ll play a key role in managing and developing our HR Information System (iTrent) and related data systems.
You’ll also support the department’s Access to Information (AIN) representative, supporting transparency and compliance with data-related policies.
What You'll Do

Lead the development and delivery of HR data dashboards, reports and analytics

Act as a product lead for HR systems or data projects and manage product roadmaps

Promote data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations
-
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand information needs and deliver solutions

Provide expert advice on data reporting tools, system integration, and process improvement
-
Manage and optimise HRIS system configuration and data

Provide first-line technical support, user training, and system documentation
-
Represent the organisation in external forums and working groups
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is both technically skilled and who also understands the value of workforce data in driving organisational success.
Essential Skills and Experience:
-
Experience with HR/Payroll systems (preferably iTrent) and Business Intelligence 4 (BI4) reporting

Strong analytical, numerical and data visualisation skills
-
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
-
Proven experience in developing complex reports and presenting data to a variety of stakeholders
-
Strong understanding of HR policies and employment legislation
-
Confident communicator with excellent written and oral presentation skills
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and lead on system-related projects
-
Experience in system administration, data security and integration, and training delivery
-
The skills we are seeking include Power BI, DAX formulas and expressions, Data ETL process, PowerQuery ‘M’ formulas, SAP Business Intelligence 4 (Business Objects), understanding of SQL, working with relational data models, data flow automations, or similar experience that can convert quickly.
