Salary: £42,750 - £47,620 per annum inclusive of all allowances
Contractual Hours: 35 hours per week

Basis: Fixed term contract until 31st March 2027, full-time

The role

This role will play a critical role in supporting the Funding Team with all aspects of its work. The Senior Funding Officer role will manage a team of Funding Officers and temporary staff to deliver an effective and efficient business support function for City Bridge Foundation which includes the operational delivery of a public enquiry service and the end-to-end processing of charitable funding applications and proposals. They will work alongside the Senior Funding Officer responsible for the Customer Relationship Management software to instil new processes and procedures across the team.

 

This role will also manage a portfolio of established charitable funding agreements; being the named contact for the charitable organisations in the portfolio; ensuring monitoring and evaluation are carried out in line with the funding agreements; distilling any learning from the portfolio in line with our Impact and Learning Strategy.

 

About you

In terms of experience, you’ll be well-versed in managing a team of business support staff who provide administrative support to charitable or similar organisations and provide advice to stakeholders of all levels. You should also have experience working collaboratively in small teams, along with data input and data management within Customer Relationship Management databases.

 

You’ll also have sound written, verbal communication skills, excellent IT literacy and strong interpersonal skills. An effective analytical problem-solver, you’ll be able to manage competing deadlines without losing the quality of your work. You should have a good knowledge of funding in the voluntary and community sectors, a good understanding of charity accounting, monitoring and evaluation and grant portfolio management.
