We are seeking an inspirational individual to take up the post of Screen Practice Tutor teaching screen practice across the BA acting programme and contributing to its development across the Drama Department.
Our training is highly regarded in the industry for the passion, quality and rigour of the teaching: renowned for the combined focus on craft training, care and attention to individual student development, and the strong ensemble ethic shared by staff and students. We place inclusive, pioneering and progressive practice at the core of our training.
This is primarily a teaching role, delivering the classes and seminars of that module. They will take responsibility for planning the sessions and be responsible for all assessment processes. We are seeking someone with current working industry experience and excellent teaching skills to contribute to this area of practice to ensure our students are developing the craft and experience they need to flourish. We are ambitious to develop our teaching and learning in acting for camera, self-taping, live streaming and screen project work. In addition, as online platforms, gaming, VR and hybrid practice continue to play a fundamental role in the innovation and delivery of the arts, it is crucial our students have an experience of working at the forefront of these technologies.
