The Guildhall School is the lead delivery organisation for Music Education Islington (MEI) and as such supports all children attending state-maintained schools in the Borough of Islington with a wide variety of in-school and out of school activities, programmes and events.
MEI is led by Islington Council and Guildhall School of Music & Drama, in partnership with Music in Secondary Schools Trust and leading arts organisations and funders, as well as the Islington Community of Schools.
The Guildhall School is recruiting for a Project Officer to join the MEI team. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who will lead on the operational planning and administration of out of school programmes and one-off projects. We are looking for a highly organised and dynamic individual with excellent communication skills, who has a passion for working with children and young people, their parents and carers. The ideal candidate should have strong organisation skills and substantial experience in project planning and management within music education and thrives to work in a busy and active environment.
