Salary: £66,190 - £75,010 per annum inclusive of all allowances
Contractual Hours: 35 hours per week

The Chamberlain is seeking maternity cover for the post of Head of Chamberlain’s Office on her senior leadership team. The role is offered on a secondment or fixed term basis to provide maternity cover to start in October/November 2025. 

We are looking for a highly organised and professional individual. With the ability to build strong relationships at senior levels internally and externally and work collaboratively and proactively with senior and mid-level colleagues across the organisation to achieve effective outcomes and results.  This role requires experience of working in a senior position in Business Administration or similar within a complex organisation. The role is also responsible for overseeing the Chamberlain’s Court in its activities of admitting applicants to the Freedom of the City of London.

This is a diverse role for an innovative and adaptable individual, providing an opportunity to make a direct contribution to the effective operation of the Chamberlain’s Department. 

The Chamberlain’s Department provides several Services to the City of London Corporation including accounting, treasury management, transactional finance, and Internal Audit.   Alongside Commercial, Change and Portfolio Delivery and Digital, Information and Technology Services.
