Salary: £42,750 -£47,620 per annum inclusive of all allowances.
Contractual Hours: 35 hours per week

If so, we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and efficient Deputy Clerk to join the City of London’s Chamberlain’s Court team. The Chamberlain’s Court is responsible for the admission of the Freedom of the City of London. You will be responsible for conducting daily ceremonies of the Freedom of the City admission, ensuring each ceremony is memorable for the recipient and their guests. Managing the operational and administrative activities of the Chamberlain’s Court on behalf of the Clerk including procurement and budget management.  You will also oversee the retail funiction of the Court and provide supervision other members of the Chamberlain’s Court Team. 

You will have excellent public speaking skills with the ability to make individual ceremonies feel special to the applicant.  High level of IT skills with experience working with databases and Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint. You will have exceptional customer service skills acting as the first point of contact for enquiries.  The successful candidate will also be highly organised with experience working to tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment and possess fantastic problem-solving skills.
