The Remembrancer’s Office is seeking a Business Services Assistant to work within the Business Services Team. The main responsibilities of this position are to provide administrative support to  the Commercial Events team and be responsible for invoice generation and data collection in regard to commercial hire at the Guildhall.  The post-holder will also be required to provide general administrative support across the Office, including cover for the Committee Room Attendants as required.  There will also be an opportunity to work alongside the Events team, assisting at a range of functions.

 

You will already have good experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams), have excellent time management, attention to detail and a willingness to learn and contribute to the efficient delivery of administration and support services to our teams. You should also possess good written and verbal communication skills and have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the commercial events team
  • Carry out data analysis of income and usage figures
  • Contribute to the efficient running of the Remembrancer’s Office
  • Be part of an effective business services and attendant team

 

Experience Required:

  • Provision of administrative support
  • Experience of using Excel to manage and sort data
  • Use of financial and data systems
  • Working in a team
