Salary: £38,080 - £42,150 
Contractual Hours: 35 hours per week

If you are interested in the built environment and have recently completed, or will soon be completing, an accredited degree in Building Surveying, Civil, Structural or Building Services Engineering or an equivalent construction-based qualification, why not consider a career in Building Control? At the same time, you will be fully supported in undertaking professional studies and training with a view to attaining chartered status of your chosen professional body and becoming a fully qualified Building Inspector.    

 

The Environment Department is responsible for the delivery of a range of services for the built environment including a high-quality Building Control service within the Square Mile and beyond. This is operated by the District Surveyor’s Office which is the leading provider of Building Control services within the City of London and has a long history of working on prestigious projects.
