System Owner (MRI Horizon)
The City of London Corporation are seeking a highly capable and forward-thinking System Owner to lead the strategic development, integration, and optimisation of our property finance system (MRI Horizon). This platform underpins the collection and management of rent, service charge, and insurance income across our commercial property portfolios.
Working across Finance, Property Management, Budget Holders and IT, you will define the system’s strategic direction, drive consistency and best practice across multiple operating departments, and ensure the system evolves to meet the future needs of the business. The role is supported by a dedicated System Administrator responsible for day-to-day operation and user support.
Further you will be responsible for helping define and drive the department’s wider property IT strategy, to ensure that our technology stack meets the current and emerging needs of the department.
The position is a highly strategic, technology-led, and cross-functional leadership role, with clear responsibility for:

Stakeholder management across a matrix organisation

Driving process improvement and digital adoption
The role will be based with the organisation’s City Surveyor’s Department (CSD). CSD is responsible for the management of the Corporation’s property investment portfolio, corporate real estate, property/construction projects and the operational management of both portfolios. It has a significant role in supporting the organisation achieve its objectives.
This exciting role supports cross-organisational delivery, and as such we are looking for a candidate with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
