Salary: Grade E (£49,140 - £55,000) (A Market Forces Supplement may be considered, subject to eligibility)

About The Role

The Barbican Centre has an extensive offer of places to eat and drink, whatever your mood! Reporting to the Head of Commercial Development, the Senior Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for effectively managing and developing the in-house bars and cafe operations throughout the Centre, ensuring the successful delivery of a unique and brand-focused experience.

This role is key to supporting and driving the organisation’s intention to maximise income generation, in line with the Barbican business plan, and contributing to the overall commercial strategy. You’ll be heading up a team of 15 managers, in addition to circa 100 casual colleagues across 10 outlets.

 

The Person

Our ideal candidate will have, a proven track record of multi venue operations, and be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of standard industry KPI’s such as profit margins, stock controls and labour management. You’ll have the ability to plan complex operational logistics and be a dynamic problem solver, with a thirst for learning.
