Salary: £49,140 - £55,000 per annum inclusive of London Weighting
Contractual Hours: 35 hours per week

Basis: Full-Time, Fixed term for 6 months

The Media Team is responsible for proactively promoting this work and managing reputational risks.

 

The role


As an ambitious and experienced Media Officer, you will work on high-profile issues relating to financial and professional across the UK. This role will lead on high-profile international issues relating to financial and professional in the Square Mile with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific This will involve occasional travel and working closely with senior figures across the sector, including the Lord Mayor and Policy Chairman. As a key member of the team, you’ll regularly interact with a wide range of London, national and international media outlets to tell a positive story about our work.

 

About you


As an exceptional communicator, you will be a team player with experience in a story-selling media environment and be comfortable working across a wide variety of issues. Experience in dealing with media enquiries regarding financial and professional services will be an advantage. An understanding of key issues affecting the City of London is important – and a commitment to excellence and results is essential.
