About the Role
As Marketing Manager (Website, Email & CRM), you’ll play a key role in shaping how audiences experience the Barbican’s brand across our digital ecosystem. You’ll lead the planning, delivery and optimisation of our email and CRM marketing activity, ensuring campaigns are data‑driven, audience‑focused and aligned with our artistic, commercial and membership goals. Working closely with Senior Digital Marketing Managers and collaborating with colleagues across marketing, data, UX and content, you’ll manage the end‑to‑end email calendar, champion automation and lifecycle communications, and oversee website performance, accessibility and SEO. From developing testing plans to analysing performance dashboards, you’ll use insights to inform decision‑making and continually enhance the effectiveness of our digital marketing output.
About You
You’ll bring solid experience in email and digital marketing, ideally in a multi‑brand or arts‑focused environment, with a proven ability to craft engaging copy, deliver persuasive campaigns and use data to drive results. Confident with CRM platforms, segmentation, automation and reporting tools, you combine analytical thinking with creative flair and a sharp eye for detail. You’re highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple campaigns at pace, with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills that help you build positive relationships internally and externally. Above all, you’re collaborative, curious and passionate about connecting audiences with outstanding arts and cultural experiences.
