Are you an experienced Application Deployment professional looking to make a real impact across a large and diverse organisation? We're looking for a skilled Application Packaging & Deployment Specialist to join our Digital Information & Technology Services team — helping us deliver seamless, resilient, and innovative application services to users across the organisation. 

 

What You’ll Do 

 

In this key technical role, you will: 

  • Lead the design, development, testing and deployment of complex application packages. 

  • Act as the organisation’s subject matter expert on application deployment approaches and technologies, 

  •  Work closely with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into robust technical solutions. 

  • Manage and implement major deployment projects and contribute to shaping future policies and procedures. 

  • Maintain a high-quality testing environment and ensure effective version control and change management. 

  • Support corporate applications, provide 2nd/3rd line technical expertise, and uphold service standards. 

  • Keep ahead of industry trends, ensuring our deployment methods stay modern and effective. 

  • Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing across the team, helping colleagues develop their expertise

About You 

 

You’ll bring: 

  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience. 

  • Strong expertise in Intune, SCCM, application deployment and lifecycle management. 

  • Experience managing complex deployment environments and application patching. 

  • Knowledge of cloud, client-server, thin client and web-based technologies. 

  • Excellent communication skills — able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting, MDM, Autopilot, and Windows desktop environments. 

  • A proactive mindset, always looking for opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and user experience. 

Experience with Azure-based deployments and Evergreen application management is highly desirable.

This role requires a NPPV 3 (Non police personnel) and SC Clearance (security check) Vetting check.
